The South Carolina Insurance News Service is a nonprofit, nonlobbying organization which provides property and casualty insurance information to consumers and the media. We are funded by insurance companies doing business in South Carolina which write more than 70 of the auto, homeowners and commercial insurance policies in South Carolina. Our goal is to help consumers better understand auto, homeowners and business insurance.
